This old quilt measures 86" by 84" across, so it is practically square; the bed is a queen, 80" by 60".
It is a rather thin quilt with just a simple layer of 100% cotton batting.
The pattern is # 846 in Judy Rehmel's book, "Key To 1000 Quilt Patterns".
The piecing and quilting were done by hand. The quilting has a density of 8 stitches per inch and it was made in a pattern whose name we don't know: interlocking circles, similar to "Wine Glass", but with little "cro...wns" that make the whole thing look like pineapples, but we doubt that is the name.
The same little crowns pattern appears on the pink centers and the green curved borders, as shown in the close-ups.
We combine shipping.
