Bogen K10 Tube Amplifier Works and Sounds Excellent. Condition is "Seller refurbished". I added a grounded power cord to the unit. I added all new power supply capacitors (4) to the unit that were in the old multi-section can cap. I left the old can cap in the unit for cosmetics.
This K10 has the following tubes 7543 (upgraded 6au6), Hammond 12AX7, Tube rectification is Mullard EZ80/6BW4 and two 6AQ5 tubes. If you are going to use as a ...Harp or guitar amp, you may want to remove the Mic input connector and input transformer and replace with a regular 1/4" jack connected to the grid of the 7543. During testing, I checked out the phono input and also bypassed the input mic and input transformer by connecting directly to pin9 of the input transformer. This connection gives access to the input stage (7543 tube).Both signal paths sounded loud and clear.Thanks for looking
