Up for auction is a Commodore 1764 RAM Expansion Module also known as a RAM Expansion Unit (REU). It's been upgraded from 256KB to 512KB. This REU is great if you run GEOS on your Commodore 64 or C128. The REU is in nice cosmetic shape, tested and working.

This auction comes with the Commodore 64 1764 RAM Expansion Module. Nothing more, nothing less. It comes from a personal adult owned and smoke free collection.

Commodore's RAM Expansion Unit (REU) range of external RAM add-ons for their Commodore 64/128 home computers was announced at the same time as the C128. The REUs came in three models, initially the 1700 (128 KB) and 1750 (512 KB), and later the 1764 (256 KB, for the C64).
Officially, the 1700 REU and the 1750 REU were designed only for the C128 and the 1764 REU was designed only for the C64; however there was strong compatibility and all 3 were used on both machines. Nevertheless, any Commodore REU used on a C64 required additional power (the 1764 was bundled with a 2.5 ampere power supply) due to the draw by the additional ICs. The stock C64 power supply could not, but the C128 stock power supply could, supply all Commodore REUs. Some dealers unbundled the 1764 and the power supply in order to sell the power supply to C64 users, and/or upgrade the 1764 to 512 kByte.
Now for shipping and packing information:
Everything will be packed properly (new box, bubble wrap, etc). There's nothing like receiving an item you pay good money for and have it packed poorly, so I make sure to pack things how I'd expect them to be packed. Free shipping in the USA will be via USPS Priority Mail and come with tracking and insurance.
For international shipping I will use the Global Shipping Program for all International shipping, so you pay shipping fees based on the Global Shipping Program calculations for your location.
Item will be shipped within 24-48 hours Monday-Friday and within 48-72 hours Saturday-Sunday (excluding holidays) of receiving your cleared payment.
