For sale an unusual half doll - very Art Deco withher garconne style haircut. I think she is probablyGerman but I cannot fine her in the Collector's Encyclopediaof Half-dolls. Somebody has dressed this lady in a very fancy embroidered piece of silk but if one lowers the topshe has a light blue top that only crosses one breast - quite sexy!! The bust is about 3 inches in height. Shehas legs with gold shoes. The base says Germany.Standing she measu...res about 9 inches in height. I don't know what this young lady has been up to butshe has scratches on her elbows. Both are rough andone side has dark marks. On the top of her head it lookslike she may have had a headdress glued on at some pointand there seems to be a bit of glue on it. Please see photo.Not very noticeable but I prefer to mention. The back of theribbon has Courtois-Hennay Bruxelles is stamped on the back.An interesting and mysterious young lady!
