BOB MARLEY & THE WAILERS BOB MARLEY & THE WAILERS Description Exceedingly scarce and highly collectible original first printing concert poster designed to promote BOB MARLEY & THE WAILERS' June 1980 tour of Germany with concerts in Cologne (June 6), Kaiserslautern (June 8), Dortmund (June 12), Munich (June 13), Hamburg (June 14), Berlin (June 20), and Kassel (June 21). Marley's... German tour was presented by Mama Concerts and set up to promote the brand new Uprising album which had been recorded in London during January 1980 and released in May just before the European tour.
The poster measures 59.1 x 83.6 cm (approx. 23.2 by 32.9 inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. Light overall handling wear and a couple of closed rips to the center of the top border and a closed rip to the center of the bottom border.
