Rare*** style is rare***Vintage 1950's Baja Barnett & Jaffe slide box carrying case. Near perfect condition. Beautiful and very cool to hold slides or jewelry or photos or whatever. Dimensions are as follow: 7 inches across front 5.5 inches tall 6.5 inches wide Handle is bakalite Hinges and handles are brass and in perfect condtion Drawers are wood faced with bakalite interior and bottom of each drawer. All in perfect condition. Box has 4 small feet for resting on table. Outside bo...x in near perfect with one small flaw on top (shown in picture) Barnett & Jaffe Photographic Slide Case, c. 1950-1955. Locking case is made of wood covered with brown and gold colored diagonally striped paper. Case opens in front to reveal three drawers and open side slot. Front of drawers are covered in brown paper and have thin brass handles with label slot in the front. Drawer itself is brown colored bakalite and wood with slots to hold photo slides. Case has bakalite carrying handle. Excellent condition. (metal logo on top center) Barnett Family was the niece of Rockefeller Partner Charles Pratt and owner of 'Eucalyptus Hill' on the Hillsborough/San Mateo border. Condition is previously loved.
