I've collected over 200 bats in the past 30 years and have decided to offer them for sale to fellow collectors. I'll be listing more every week so keep watching. Hillerich & Son Co. "King of the Field" No. 13. The King of the Field No. 13 is listed in a 1915 catalog and Bradsby got added to the labels starting in 1916, so it's easy to determine the year of this bat. The center oval on this bat dates only to the 1911-1915 era.You'll need to be strong to swing this bat as it's a real war club weighing in at 38.5 ounces and almost 35 inches.Considering it's over 100 years old, the bat is in very good condition with a little damage to the barrel end, knob chip and a handle crack as the only real issues. The center oval brand is really strong and the hickory grain is smooth and tight. Appears that the handle had been previously taped over the repaired crack. It still feels like an uncracked bat when you hold it and swing it. Length in inches: 34.5 Weight in ounces: 38.5 Knob Marking: noneCondition: Please use the multiple pictures to assess condition.
