Vintage Japanese SATSUMA vase with colorful hand-painted gold accented FLOWERS & other band designs. Excellent condition and clean.
THE FLASH HAS ADDED SOME CONTRAST TO THE COLORS. THE WHITE SPOTS ARE HOT SPOTS FROM THE FLASH.
Measures 8 1/4 inches high by 5 1/2 inches wide. SATSUMA / HANZI characters crest on the bottom.
No cracks, chips or stains. I find a few light surface scuffs (specks) commensurate with light handling and cleaning.
This lovely and vibran...t vase is clean, bright and ready for service and display.
WHITE SPOTS AND STREAKS ARE REFLECTIONS AND GLARE FROM THE LIGHTING.
