The clock benefits from a serpentine twist top with a lift out glazed door to gain access to the dial and hands. The front has this beautiful inlaid marquetry decoration all of which is in excellent condition. The case has a beautiful ebonised finish and has a removable back door to gain access to the movement The Clock Measures - 9.5 inches high x 7.25 inches wide x 5.75 inches deepDialThe clock has a 5 x 3.75 inch white enamel porcelain dial which has Roman numerals and has its original hands. The dial is protected by its glazed lift out panel, the dial is signed Thomas A Paris. There is a repair around bth winding holes on the dial as you can see in the photographsMovementThe movement is a high quality French 8 day bell striking silk suspension movement which strikes on the half past and on the hours, the movement is in full working order keeping time with its French silk suspension pendulum and comes with a winding key, the movement dates to circa 1840 the movemnt is also signed by Thomas A ParisCondition ReportThis clock is in excellent original condition and in full working order.
