Offered in this sale is a vintage hand painted Japanese Satsuma vase that I believe dates to the mid to earlier 1900s. It measures roughly 9 5/8" tall x 4 1/2" in diameter at its widest. It measure 3" in diameter across the base. It is not marked in any way. It is decorated with an all over continuous scene of two birds - perhap...s pheasants - on the edge of a body of water with large flowers and trees around. The condition is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration.
