Up for auction is a RARE c1890 VICTORIAN JAMES DIXON GOLD GILT SILVER PLATE SANDWICH TRAVELLING BOX. A unique and rarely found box created for travelling with and holding a sandwich. With nice gilt interior the box is still perfectly practical for use. The interior with later 19th century James Dixon & Son Sheffield silver plate marks.
Condition: Very fine the sandwich box appears to have seen very little to no use and have also never been monogrammed or personalized.
Size : measures 5-1/4 inches long by 3-1/8 inches wide and sits 1 inch tall. PLEASE REVIEW PAYMENT AND RETURN POLICIES PRIOR TO BIDDING. BEST OF LUCK WITH THE AUCTIONS!
