1900 Era. H.Disston & Sons Acme 120 11 PPI X-C 26" Finnish No Set Saw. the plate is straight, just not Perfect. no pitting to mention. the plate is on the dark side, clean, smooth to the touch. two small dings, none of the negatives will interfere with the use of this saw. i have jointed, and sharpened the teeth X-C with a crown on a crowned hand saw carrier bar on a machine, should back to how it came from the factory. no set to the teeth on these Acme 120 s...aws. most of the etch and secondary etch is strong and readable . the plate is 26" long 2 1/2" at the toe 7 5/8" at the heel. The Handle and saw nuts are original to this saw plate. this is a sweet cutting X-C Finnish Saw, you won't be disappointed. Very Crisp Apple handle with full horns. made a repair to the top horn. see Photos. The handle is Sound. Oiled and refinished the handle.Please look at the photos as they are part of the description.
