It was produced by the Lock & Whitfield photographic studio using the woodbury process and is titled to the mount 'Major Chard' - John Rouse Merriott Chard, a recipient of the Victoria Cro...ss for his actions at Rorke's Drift in the Anglo-Zulu War. It is just one of a number of interesting CDV and stereoviews on offer this week. All of which are being sold without reserve.
