Typewriter was damaged in shipping but was the best typewriter I've ever used. Now, the space bar will not go up and down, and the left platen knob along with the left side was clocked during shipping. The platen is excellent on this 3000, and the condition, as you can see in pics, is definitely above average.
This is a perfect typewriter to buy if you love your 1970's Hermes 3000. The margins work just fine on this machine and the thought and innovation sim...ply amazes me every time I use on these. I still have the rounded 3000, but this one worked a lot better when it was working.
I should be put the cover on it when I had this on a shelf in my typewriter room. I'd clean it out be figure you'll be cleaning it out anyway. Don't worry, this is certainly not an estate sale find where someone throws it in a box without packing it properly.
Please look at the pictures closely because I would prefer not to answer a lot of questions about a typewriter I have lost $150 plus dollars and a lot of time in the past cleaning it up before it was damaged.
