Antique (c1880) delicate English porcelain demitasse cup and saucer. Impossibly thin, translucent porcelain, decorated with ornate gilt flowers and ornaments. Gilt handle and trim. The cup is apx 2 1/4" diameter (not including the handle); the saucer is apx 4 5/8" diameter. Marked "T.C. Brown-Westhead Moore &am...p; Co .. Staffordshire England .. Established 1745" [Cauldon]; along with an importer's mark ("Davis Collamore .. New York"), in red. There is also a hand painted pattern or artist code, in red: "K 1065". Minor wear to the gilt decoration, otherwise very good condition ~ no chips or damage. Enlarge photos for detail.
