Original Description:
Here for sale is this fabulous antique serving (or dessert) dish, featuring an eye-catching design of fringed tulips. Made by Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co., of Staffordshire, and bearing their impressed mark to the reverse. Dates to the 1860s-70s era; fresh from a superb New York estate. Good to very good condition for its age, with the only flaw being some light wear to the overglaze pink accents. Measures approximately 8 1/8" in diameter by 1 3/8" deep. The intricate transferware ...tulip design is part of the company's "Field Flowers" botanical series. A beautiful example of Victorian transferware that will make an elegant addition to any fine table or collection.
