Presenting a rarely seen, Mid Century Italian studio art pottery basket / handled bowl attributed to the work of Aldo Londi for Bitossi. The piece depicts the beautiful sgraffito Seta Series pattern with gloss glazes in Rimini Blue, Turquise, and Metallic Gold. The bottom of the vase has a small foot, concave and glazed as typical genuine Bitossi Pottery of the era, and is signed 'P2/20 Italy' in black. The handle is coiled clay that has been twisted to form a rope ha...ndle. This unique piece is in beautiful vintage condition with no cracks, but please note that there is wear to the inside of the bowl, and some flaking to the glaze on the sides of the vessel. There is also some discoloration spots to the interior of the piece. Photos are the actual item up for bid- they are an accurate depiction of the quality of the piece.
