Abeautiful example of timeless design from Bitossi Ceramiche under the artistic directionof Aldo Londi. This shaggy goat with gracefully arched horns was producedsometime in the early ‘60s. Other examples of this pattern were finished in avariety of glazes, including the signature Rimini Blu, or as here, in acoarsely textured matte glaze. I have found only a handful of other examples.
