Art Nouveau UNGER BROS. Sterling Silver HE LOVES ME Rare Small Patch Box
This is a lovely rare small size patch or rouge box by Unger Bros. in the 'He Loves Me' pattern. Featuring a beautiful long haired maiden with daisies in her hair, she is plucking the petals from a daisy in her hands. There are wispy swirls surrounding her and all bordered by a Douvaine style Art Nouveau border.The glass base is pressed in a pinwheel pattern and is in excellent condition. The lid is sterl...ing silver and also in very good condition with a small side dent at about the 2 o'clock position. This cannot be seen when viewed from above or from a front angle. Marked as shown -Sterling 925 Fine (UB) Pat. Feb 10th 1903-. Measures 1 3/4" at the widest and is 1 1/2" tall.
