• Porzellanfabrik Sorau, Brandenburg, Germany• 11" Serving Bowl• Rim: White Bell Flowers with Light Brown and Green Highlights and Luster Finish• Center: Large Pink and Red Roses with Green Leaves at the forefront of a Pastoral Scene• Mold: Intricate Vine-like Leaves and Flowers • Antique 1892-1906• Measurements: 11" outer diameter and 3 3/8" high• Weight, prepackaged: 1 lb 4.2 oz
• Condition: The bowl has been expertly repaired. The repair stems fro...m a chip on the underside of the bowl which doesn't effect the rim shape. The balance of the bowl is free of chips, crazing and fleabites including on all the intricate points on the rim. The paint is beautifully done though smudged on the bottom as seen in the photos. The foot has light shelf wear as expected. It's a gorgeous mold with intricacy rivaling Reinhold Schlegelmilch's. The bottom is marked "P S, Germany" in Green and "Made in Germany" in gold. Even with the repair it's a beautiful piece and will make a fine addition to an antique porcelain collection.
