This is a superb pair of Staffordshire porcellaneous poodle dogs with the applied chipped decoration, intricate facial detailing, each with a flower basket being held in its mouth with to the rears: the decorative spill vases of which:During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the mid 19th century.
