Yamaha Hip Gig (aka Rick Marotta) Drum Kit W/rare

Yamaha Hip Gig drums. Condition is Used. Super rare find. LOCAL pickup only unless shipping terms met. This rare kit in extraordinary condition in the fabulous mellow yellow has 2 add-on toms! This is FIRST GENERATION Hip Gig kit. The badges say Hip Gig not Rick Marotta which was added later on in the Hip Gig series after the Al Foster and Manu Katche series were added. The one add-on tom in 12" size is OEM Rick Marotta badged however the 8" is actually a quality Ddrum using same dimen...sions as OEM 8" Hip Gig which has the matching Yamaha hardware - lugs and tom mount and matching yellow wrap. The add-on toms are not to be found so the next best thing was to make my own 8" and no one would know the difference. It sounds great. This kit was never gigged! No rust. It has the soft padded bags and other unpadded tom bag with the tom spacers. You get everything shown EXCEPT the stand that is being used to hold the 8" tom. All other hardware is included. Oh the one-size-fits-all seat too! Batter heads are not original nor is the BD head. The reso heads are original including the front BD head. The sizes are as follows: BD 16" SN 12" Toms 8/10/12/13. I NEVER planned on selling this kit as it is a collector's item and I loved it for all these years but I don't use them now that I have a big Stage Custom kit and well, I need the money.
