Hi up for sale is a once in a lifetime find!!! This is a original case v42 devils brigade stiletto fighting knife this model is the navy model according to Michael W Silvey knives of World War II book this is one of approximately 70!!! That where purchased for the navy this beautiful theater modified knife has tons of I’D markings ...on the knife handle and sheath that appears to have been modified from the original sheath the Front of the sheath has aluminum plate that has been added to the original sheath from the soldier it is marked “ C-F KAHLA PT-BOLIVAR TEXAS” also has box with a star and “V” “service” also marked C-A- KAHLA USN 1942 1943 1944 1945” the Clear plastic and metal ring handle as has the markings “ C-F- KAHLA PT BOLIVAR TEXAS underneath there handle rings the whole knife is 100% solid no movement anywhere!!! The blade and skull crusher pommel have overall patina/surface rust sadly it looks like the name case has been worn off trough all the years of service this knife has been trough but there is MORE THAN ENOUGH Providence here I also wanted to mention the notice the picture of the navy’s model v42 leather sheath handle retention strap button has a pattern on it NOT seen on any other types of the case v42 knives just another way to prove this is real deal 1 of the 70!!!!! Don’t pass this deal up like I said this is a one in lifetime chance to get one of these extremely rare scarce case v42 navy knives!!!
