Lovely Rare Vintage Sampson Mordan Solid Gold Dip Pen & Pencil Combo Gucci Logo (Marked With The Mordan Arrow Indicated As Solid Gold 9ct Or Better)
This is one of a number of rather rare Mordan pens that I will be listing over the next couple weeks so please do take a look at my other items or save me as a favourite seller Make & model
Sampson Mordan (Unmarked apart from the Mordan arrow that indicates solid gold)
...Dip fountain pen and telescopic propelling pencil combo.
Made from solid gold 9ct or better. It is unmarked but tested and also has the Mordan arrow.
Interestingly the top of the pen has the Gucci logo and 1870 engraved so not sure if this is associated to someone from Gucci perhaps.
The pen weighs 17.8 grams and although this is not all gold as there are some metal components internally, I think there is a lot of gold content based on the quality.

Everything works exactly as it should do. Barrel
Made from solid gold that is unmarked but tested as 9ct or better.
It is rather heavy and well weighted. This is a rather high quality pen so I think there is quite a lot of gold content. The weight is 17.8 grams
The top of the pen has the Gucci logo and 1870 engraved well so not sure if this pen was associated to someone from Gucci or retailed by them perhaps as it is unmarked despite being 100% Sampson Mordan

Fully extended (Including Pencil) = 130mm
