THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY AUCTION. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND MY POLICIES BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID.Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list! This listing is for a very rare vintage Conn eagle/trademark mouthpiece for key of C soprano saxophone (note the letter "C" above the eagle's head). If you play a concert pitch soprano you probably already know that they are nigh on impossible to play in tune without the correct mouthpiece designed for the...m. A standard soprano mouthpiece just won't cut it. The originals are very hard to find though, as they were made in limited quantity, and very few, if any, were made after the C soprano fad of the 1920's subsided. I don't believe anyone is making a modern version either. This is the type of mouthpiece that would have come along with a 1920's era "New Wonder" key of C soprano sax. It is made of hard rubber and has a large, round chamber, with deeply scooped inner side walls. The tip opening measures .040". This piece is in excellent condition. The facing is perfectly smooth, and appears to be original. There are no tooth indentations. There are some minor ligature scratches on the exterior. It has been cleaned/sanitized. Please feel free to message me with any questions.
