Commission Of Declaration Of Independence Signer. Unusual commission of the first Deputy Secretary of Pennsylvania, James Trimble.  This commission is apparently, a recommissioning of Trimble under Thomas Mckean as Governor and was a signer of the Declaration of Independence.  Commissions are much less common than other forms such as land grants. Mckean was also one of the Presidents of the Continental Congress. Please see photos for condition; the signature and surrounding a...rea are excellent; the bottom of the commission is frayed.
