For sale beautiful Swiss made 1950's Tissot Seastar watch.I bought this off a retired jeweller who used to stock Omega and Tissot.This was from the period that Tissot made quality watches.The all stainless steel case is in excellent used condition (some small marks but very good).It has a stunning explorer style dial with galvanic (sunken) markers.The dial has aged beautifully and has a really nice patina giving it a creamy colour.It has steel hands with perfect aged in fill.It oozes v...intage style and is a really beautiful dial.It states "swiss made" at the base.
The watch has what looks to be its original non signed crown.
It uses a high quality Tissot 17 jewel cal 269-21 manual wind movement which keeps excellent time even though I don't know when it was last serviced.
The watch is 36.5mm in diameter with crown and 33.5mm without.
It is 40.5mm lug to lug and has 18mm lugs.
This is quite a rare early Seastar with a stunning dial.
