Rare, Motorola Catalin Circle Grille 50-XC4 Bakelite Tube Radio in Near Mint Condition. Everything on this radio is original and in wonderful shape. The bakelite is a tortoise shell brown, shiny and simply beautiful with no chips, cracks breaks, and very few, if any, scratches. The radio works fine. The knob to turn the dial is a little loose, but nothing serious. This piece measure...s 9 3/4 inches long, 6 inches tall (excluding the handle), and just under 6 inches deep. It was made by Galvin Manufacturing Corp., Chicago, Illinoise.
I don't know anything about radios, so please ask questions before bidding. This is such a magnificent piece I'm starting it low, because I figure it can stand on its own.. On Aug-24-20 at 14:29:29 PDT, seller added the following information:I'VE BEEN TOLD BY ANOTHER EBAY THAT THE GRILL CLOTHE IS NOT ORIGINAL TO THE PIECE.
