For your consideration: a Bunting & Campbell Philadelphia, PA green squat porter beer bottle. It was blown in green glass batch into a two-part private mold and finished with an applied double-tapered lip in the 1860's. This was recovered in a Philadelphia privy excavation in the last year. It is in very good dug condition with no damage at all. Light to mild use and ground wear. Displays well and would clean up great. " B & C " -block letter... initials embossed on the reverse body, (the ampersand is a single line font). Some nice small bubbles clusters scattered throughout the glass, and larger stretched examples in the neck to shoulder interface area. It measures: 6 15/16" x 2 3/4".
