This is an antique or vintage wood carrying case for a Willcox & Gibbs chain stitch sewing machine. The Willcox & Gibbs logo is on the inside of the cover along with another paper notice. It has a solid brass handle and metal corners. It measures 21 1/4" wide x 11 1/2" high x 7 1/2" deep. I believe it is made of pine with a mahogany finish. The panel is lifted some on the front right hand corner, the latch is a little hard to close and open, otherwise it is in good conditio...n.
