This auction is for a top quality very rare 1920 era antique hunting knife with a new leather sheath, worn but marked on the tang: CARDINAL CUTLERY - N.Y.C. - Goins' Knife Encyclopedia information on this knife says Cardinal Cutlery made knives from 1910 to 1930. This classic knife has a genuine deer stag antler handle and a very sharp tooled back drop point encapsulated full tang carbon steel blade with a near mirror finish. The top grade leather handmade sheath works very fine with t...his knife and is in excellent, mint condition. This knife appears re-polished and overall is still in near excellent condition.
