Claw Eagle Talon Candlesticks Silver On Bronze Patina Victorian Gothic Regency
Item History & Price

6 inches tall.
I believe these were made in the 1960's in Italy from the research I've done (based on the metal and the pieces that catch wax). Maybe older, maybe made somewhere else. Plated in silver-tone metal, with some bronze showing through in places. Lends a nice patina.
Someone let a the candles burn down in them, and as a result, the cup on one ha...s become mishappen and the other still has the candle remains in it (as you can see in the pictures) because I don't want to do the same trying to remove it! Obviously you can still fit candles in them - however, you may need to shave your candle ends down a bit, or use straight edge candles. Because they are older and have slightly narrower openings this is a good idea anyhow.
They can be taken apart - but I have seen no makers marks in them. Because they can be taken apart getting them back together on the level can be a little challenging. As with many candelabras. the candles might have to be slightly crooked to actually appear straight.
I priced them accordingly.
I will box these securely, and send by USPS mail. If you have any questions, please be sure to ask before bidding; I want to make sure that everyone is happy with their finds.
Thank you for looking.
