A vintage Art Deco Stunning Hallmarked Sterling Silver Green coloured engine turned guilloche enamel Compact Box, has Intricate Silver Design work to top with green glass top, green engine turned enamel to base and sides, with two push button Spring opening / closing compartments, Hallmarked import marks, Sterling, head looking right, inverted triangle, with letters, EZ? possibly French, Swiss or Austrian.
CONDITION REPORTThe Compact is in good condition, silver and e...namel excellent, there is a small hole through the green glass on top of compact leaving silver mesh Design a tiny little raised, small scratch to enamel side and some light scratches to enamel on base, Springs open / shuts and closes secure and well snug fits, lovely unusual piece and will not disappoint, I prefer to leave silverware unpolished or cleaned as the majority of collectors have this preference, and this will fit in well in any collection or display; as with all the lots we list we respectfully ask that buyers appreciated when bidding that these are antiques or items of age that have been used & displayed with associated wear.
