Antique Ansonia Boston model black enamel cast iron mantle clock. I did lightly clean and oil the movement in the clock, and it will strike, but will not run. Frankly i have too many projects, and no time to pull this apart to try to get it running., This being said, i am selling as is. Movement looks to have a bit of tarnish on gears, looks to have been sitting around for years. There was piles of dust and grime on movement when i found it. Not sure if pendulum is original to the cloc...k. Case has some grime, and some finish loss spots around, but with a good cleaning and some touch ups, would look pretty nice. Columns are a bit tarnished and have finish loss as well. Door does close clean and tight. Heavy bevel glass is intact with no cracks or chips. Bezel has a bit of tarnish and finish loss. Some tarnish is visible on escape wheel support arm. Dial has a crack between 1 and 2. I will supply a key to wind the clock, but is not original to the clock. Clock measures 9 1/4 inches tall, and 15 inches wide. Shipping will be on the high side due to weight of the clock, but i will reimburse any large overages in shipping cost. I will pack with plenty of insulation, to prevent any damage in transit. Thanks for looking and please ask questions.
