Gorgeous Antique Art Nouveau 1909 H/M Sterling Silver Desk/Bedside Photo FrameThis sterling silver bedside or desk photo frame is hallmarked Birmingham 1909 with maker’s initials of “H” and Separately “M” for Henry Matthews renowned for small luxury items. The upright rectangular frame is bordered by a continuous edge narrow “ribbon” with small shell motifs in each corner. The centre is lined with blue moiré silk with a blue velvet backing. It has a hinged rear flap for... picture change and an easel support. The silver frame is in good antique condition with commensurate light wear and a couple of dimples on the front edge and sides; the moiré is a little frayed. It has a good warm antique patina. The glass is missing; easily replaced.
