Underwood Universal portable typewriter with case. Manufactured in 1948 (approximation). Serial number F1783021.

Machine and case have been lightly cleaned. Feet, platen, and rollers are original. All funtions on machine have been tested and perform properly (backspace, bell, keys and space bar, shift, margins, line spacing, return lever, etc). Fresh black and red ribbon has been spun on spools. Any decaying sound-dampening has been replaced with adhesive foam material....r>•
Emblems and labels on machine are worn, but visible. There is light rusting on exposed metal under ribbon spool "hood". The case has a broken hinge on one side, but can still function.
