1912 McCall Original Pattern ~ Ladies' Dress with Five-Gored Skirt, #4873 ~
~ Description ~ Origin...al pattern advertised on pages 32, 40, and 42 in the October 1912 issue of McCall's Magazine (McCall's advertising vehicle for it's line of home sewing patterns) which offered in a separate auction this week.
This is for a dress with two views. Can be made with long or shorter sleeves and with a shawl collar or high neckline. The bodice is attached to a five-gored skirt. Dress opens in front with buttons. Size: bust 38, hips 43
Condition: Very Good condition. The pattern is complete, instructions included. Envelope has some fraying around the edges a small tear at the top left and right, with the longest tear across the right front (about 1 1/2"). Flap is attached. This item is a vintage product, used, with appropriate wear and tear, sold "As Is." Please consult photos to determine condition or please feel free to ask questions. As mentioned above, this pattern is listed in the October 1912 issue of McCall's Magazine (pictured here and offered in a separate auction this week). ~ The Fine Print ~
