This is a beautiful and rare piece of German silver by the maker Ferner. It is marked Handarbeit (Handwork or Handwrought) Sterling, Ferner. It is a substantial 2.25 liter water pitcher. It has a gorgeous shape and lovely teardrop shaped lobes surrounding the whole pitcher. Shown in the photos are close ups of the wonderful substantial feet and handle. The Pitcher sits firmly with no wobble and there is no bend or distortion .
