THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE BUYING: A blast from my childhood, here's a #130/2 model steam engine, made by Fleischmann of West Germany, that I originally received brand new as a Christmas gift in 1967. It's in typical softly worn condition for a working action toy that was used normally for many years, some minor paint chipping around the boiler frame and some minor surface rust in one corner under the platform, still generally excellent overall, coming out of storage untested after seve...ral decades, but was fully functional when put away long ago. It's missing the pressure gauge (which I removed to make sure the boiler completely dried out, and now I can't find the darn thing!), but correct accurate replacements are available from Wilesco and others. It comes totally complete with the original water funnel and a packet of fuel tablets, in the intact original heavy duty cardboard Fleishmann box. Wow! Buy-it-now for only $199, and shipping is absolutely free within the United States! I'll be liquidating a huge selection of items from an important major collection of toys and classic mid-century plastic cameras in the coming weeks, many of them mint in the original box, so please click on the link HERE to see all my current eBay listings. Okay, now take a look at this classic 1960's miniature team engine, but don't forget to read the payment and shipping information after the pics:
WHEN THE SALE ENDS: The buyer will immediately receive an invoice through eBay's automated e-mail notification system, but if you're considering more of my items, you might want to wait to pay until you receive my personalized bundled invoice after all your purchases are chosen. The buyer must prepay in US dollars by Paypal or some other more traditional method, and shipping is free within the USA. Special attention, worldwide buyers should use eBay's shipping calculator to determine the cost of USPS Priority Mail to their location for this very heavy 14 pound parcel. Now please remember, this is a genuine antique toy, some 50 years old, not a minty new item fresh from the factory, so there's a chance it could have additional little age related aches or pains I didn't notice, but it's still guaranteed to be as described, and if for some honest and understandable reason you're not satisfied, simply e-mail me first to verify instructions and then return the piece for a full refund, in compliance with eBay's guidelines, within fourteen (14) days after you receive it. Thanks for looking, and never forget, antique wood and brass and red bellows cameras rock!
