Original Description:
Scottish astronomical regulator clock case only @ late 1800s.   This case came with the signed @ 1830 astronomical regulator clock movement and mercury pendulum and other parts that I also have for sale this week under my other auctions.  This case appears to be later than the movement, probably @ late 1800s.  It appears to be mahogany or walnut, in relatively good solid condition with no damage or missing pieces except a partially broken out bottom board probably due to... a cable breaking and weight dropping at some point in the past.  Case measures 75" tall x 20" wide x 10" deep.  The opening in the door for the glass measures 13" across.  Glass is original and wavy.  Please see my other auctions this week for the astronomical regulator movement and mercury pendulum that came together with this case.  No reserve.  Shipping in the Eastern USA can be arranged by blanket wrap antique mover service, which I would estimate to be between $200.00 to $300.00, depending on exact location.  No shipping West of the Mississippi River is offered.  I will also deliver this case to a 100 mile radius of Chicago for $100.00.  Please message me for details.
