1922 McCallOriginal Pattern ~ Ladies' Shirtwaist, #...2467 ~
~ Description ~ Original pattern first advertised by McCall in 1922. A beautiful 1920's style!
This is for a ladies' shirtwaist. (In today's times it would more likely be called a blouse.) It has a wide, round collar which create revers, and a shoulder section to which the gathered front is sewn. It has a tie sewn to the back to assist in keeping the shirt in place when it is tucked in.
The pattern was in factory folds when I received it. Therefore, it included the coupon for a McCall's magazine subscription. This advertising coupon was folded into the pattern tissues during the late 1910's and early 1930's. The coupon is included in this auction. Size: bust 36
Condition: Very good condition. The pattern is complete, with instructions included. Envelope has several fraying and cracking along the edges and at the fold of the flap. I would consider it too fragile to hold the tissue pieces. Flap is attached. This item is a vintage product, used, with appropriate wear and tear, sold "As Is."
