Heathkit HERO Jr Robot Complete. Condition is "Used". Must be picked up or we can meet.
This late 80's Heathkit Robot was built by me in 1987. While the batteries have long died, I hooked it up to a small 12 volt LIFePO4 battery to make sure it still worked. Everything functioned as if it were new; however, I have to sell it "as is". If you would like, I can video the robot going through its start-up routine checking all of its functions.The original batteries were... two 6 volt 4ah batteries in series; however, I had changed to one 12 volt sealed lead acid (SLA) battery a few years ago. There is plenty of room to put a battery of your choice inside.
Shipping costs are ridiculous at around $100 now so, if you are close to me in NE Georgia near Commerce to Anderson, SC we can meet.
