This was made in Japan, The batteries were never left in the toy, we put some in to test the toy, it lights up and moves and makes noise as well, works like new, we moved it to get it started, and it lit right up, it has a dent AS SHOWN near the front, and has scuff marks on the clear dome, really neat toy. Measures 8 1/2" x 7" .
