Polish Bayonet - M1924 WZ 24 Mauser Perkun w/ Austrian bym Scabbard.This piece was found at a local estate sale behind a bunch of old bottles high on top of a cabinet in the basement. WZ.24 on PommelRight side of Ricasso, E in oval shape and D, and 271287Right side of Ricasso, eagle and W.P.
Blade has old-school hand sharpening marks (definitely not anytime recent)has black areas. It looks to be on the surface. Can't really tell. Some very dark reddish crust that doesn't l...ook like rust.may have small dots of surface rustpoint has a tiny burrcouple of small dings on edge toward tipBlade is dull
HandleWood is nice and has a rich reddish. Town colorHas a couple little gouges, but no cracks.
PommelPushbutton works. Catches at the very end a littleHas some dings and dents on butt endvery light surface rust
Scabbardbym with 4 under itother side: 4804 with B under itappears to be painted blackhas some light rust patches where black is missing
