Card Grading Scale Mint Condition - A card is straight from pack into sleeve. No visible defects. New. M/NM - The card falls somewhere in between. Near Mint Condition - A card has a few small issues. A few small scratches or a few small light scratches or a small white edge spot. Nothing very noticeable. No bends or creases at all. Nothing major and looks basically new otherwise. Excellent to Near Mint (lightly Played) - The card falls somewhere in between. The back of the card may have some white edges and scratches while the front looks close to new or really good. Excellent or Played Condition - A card that has more than a few scratches. It has some white edging on the back of the card. Maybe some edge wear on the front or a small bent spot on an edge. Some small to medium noticeable issues. But the cards still looks really good and is still in nice shape. Good Condition - A card has a lot of scratches or scuffs. It has some light to moderate white edge wear on the back and front. It has a bent spot or spots that are noticeable but no full card creases. Maybe a very small tear. Looks played with but not worn out. Poor Condition - A card that is scratched, creased, torn and has very white edges that are very worn. Usually these cards are thrown out unless they are really rare cards that might still be collectible in this condition. .
