Stunning "Tarina" was sculpted in 2010 by the oh-so-talented Washington state artist, Phyllis Morrow.She was entirely hand-sculpted without the use of molds over a strong wire armature from Fimo polymer clay. No molds were taken from her.
Tarina's mermaid tail is icy blue with hints of mauve. Her tail fin is made of gorgeous blue fantasy film.
Her luxurious hair is made of soft white Tibetan lambswool. Her icy blue eyes were handmade by the artist, and her body ...features and nails were also handpainted, blushed, and sealed.
Tarina rests on an oval wood base covered with sand , shells, and coral. The base measures 7" by 5".
She attaches to her base with a rod. She will be removed from the base for shipping.
This is one of Phyllis's larger scale mermaids. She sits approximately 8 1/2" tall, 10" on her base. Standing she would be about 12" tall, not including her tail fin.
Tarina comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Phyllis with IADR registration #.

This lovely lady is in excellent condition and is a spectacular piece.She has been kept behind glass in a smoke-free home and will be carefully packed in foam for shipping.Listed shipping is for continental US only.
