ESTATE FIND!Up for auction is a Vintage 1950's Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. She is 20" tall with a hard plastic body and vinyl sleeved arms. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows , hips and knees. She is a very pretty doll, in my opinion. Over all, Good to Very Good, Used, Vintage condition. I see missing eyelashes, the cloth shows on the wig in the back of her hair and her arms need to be reattached. This would all be a fairly easy fi...x for one of you doll doctors out there. The pictures are part of the description, so please enlarge and look closely. She needs a mild bath, no smells that I can detect. She comes from a smoke free home environment. I will leave any repair and/or cleaning to the new owner's discretion. As usual, I am selling the doll as I found her at the estate sale for parts or repair. Zoom in on all of the photos as part of the description.Doll comes with the pink sheer gown shown in the photos, as well as undies and some black high heel shoes. All shown in photo number 12. Gown is adorable with little ballerinas dressed in tutus interspersed among some rosebuds. Not sure if these clothes were all original to the doll, but they were upon her when I purchased her from the estate sale and they fit well, so I'm assuming them to be original. I will leave this all up to those of you who are more avid collectors to know for sure. Undies have lost the elasticity in the waist and all items need to be cleaned, but I see no holes or rips to my knowledge, etc.I am listing other Cissy dolls, as well as other collectible dolls this week, so please take a look at all of my items that I have for sale in my store and in auction. Thank you for looking and Happy Bidding!!On Sep-01-20 at 17:14:27 PDT, seller added the following information:Hi! :) I've had so many write to me about this doll asking about her condition that I thought I would add this additional description thinking it might stand out better here than it does in the original description since this is an add on. I find no cracks on her limbs or torso to my knowledge, as shown in the photos provided. The only notable flaws that I see, in my novice opinion, as mentioned in the listing are that the doll needs some eyelashes replaced, possibly a new wig since the cheesecloth shows against her scalp beneath her hair in the back and she needs her arms restrung. All of which would be a fairly easy fix for one of you doll doctors out there! :) Please Zoom in on all of the photos as part of the description in case I missed mentioning something you might deem important. Please don't hesitate to ask any additional questions you may have and I will do my best to help. :) Thanks again for stopping by! :)
