Vintage Barbie REAL MINK Coat, Mattel, 1960's. Mink Coat is in Very Good Used Condition. Shipped free with Priority Insured Shipping.This is an authentic original Barbie mink coat produced by Mattel and sold by Sears in the 1950s. It has been part of a Barbie collection for many years.
Please do not ask me to end this early with a buy-it-now price....I plan to let the auction runWHAT YOU ARE BIDDING ON: This is a Vintage 1960's MATTEL Vintage Barbie Doll Clo...thing SUPER RARE Sears Exclusive Mink Stole which measures 4" from collar to end of the coat/cap. It does not have sleeves.I am an avid doll collector not an expert on Barbies but purchased this coat with several other Barbie Items. I do feel that this is the "real deal". I do believe it was played with and the label was cut out but you can look at other sites and see where the white label was and some of the black lettering. (see photo please)
The Eames book says it had a "laminated lining"....it is almost like it's been glued...it has wrinkles but no discoloration (see photo).
There are a few small bare spots (see photos) still in very good overall coverage...and it is nice and soft!
No bad odors like smoke or must
