14 " Vintage HP Mdm. Alexander Maggie Face Polly Pigtails Orig. Dress 1949 - 51

14" vintage Madame Alexander hard-plastic Polly Pigtails (Maggie Face) in original dress from 1949-51 in good played-with condition from 70 years ago.
Polly Pigtails is a strung non-walker. According to my Madame Alexander reference books, they used Maggie face on over 30 different dolls. The outfit determined what doll she was. Polly Pigtails' wig came in blonde and dark-blonde.
Polly Pigtails has her original wig in dark-blonde braids, blue sleep eyes with real upper lashes (th...ey are full with none missing) and painted lower lashes. Note that her eyes sometimes stick in open position (the weight inside her head sometimes sticks). Her hard-plastic body is in good condition with all fingers and toes. Her stringing is good; she will hold a pose.
Polly Pigtails wears her original blue eyelet party dress that no longer has its label. The last photo shows this dress in pink (available in pink, blue and yellow) from the book "Madame Alexander Dolls on Review" by Marjorie Sturges Uhl, page 36. Her vintage underwear, socks and Mary Jane shoes may be replaced. She no longer has her straw hat; I will include the replaced hat and a doll stand.
The only flaw that I see is a tiny dot mark on the right side of her chest (please see photo).
