You are bidding on an excellent vintage Vogue Ginny doll wearing the Candy Dandy outfit from 1954. The doll and outfit are in very good condition almost mint. She is a straight leg walker whose walker works well. She holds a pose well. Her eyes open and close. and the hairdo still retains the original set for the most part. The wig is thick and nice. She has no stain or smells, and the face color is very nice. The dress and matching bloomers appear never to have been washed... and still maintains the original crispness of fabric. I have found no flaws, no stain, no rips , no odors, and the white lace does not show the yellow aging found on some of these older dresses. The original hat to this outfit is also present. I can only find 2 small imperfections. If you look at the picture of the doll's eyes when closed, you might see a slight discoloration at the very edge of the left lid and a small defect. I never noticed until I decided to start downsizing and selling some of my dolls. Of course, this is not visible when her beautiful blue eyes are open and barely noticeable when her eyes are closed. The other minor issue is that her hat band has stretched out. I just tucked it under the chin. The box shows wear and is for an undressed doll but is still sturdy .
